WING DESIGN : The world of paragliding wing design has undergone tremendous evolution in the last decades thanks to the advent of computers. Having state-of-the-art design and simulation tools is essential for developing quality products. One of the biggest obstacles for all paraglider designers has always been to find a design tool able to perform modeling work in an automatic, parametric, precise and fast way; this not only to design more efficiently but also and above all to avoid classical geometric errors of the modeling processes carried out manually by means of CAD. To design as precisely as possible MIM paramodels has created its own software.
In addition to the geometrical aspects, MIM paramodels has been using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) analysis tools to validate the design and to guarantee maximum aerodynamic performance, manageability and stability from the preliminary design stages.

SAIL PRODUCTION : For the mass production of its wings MIM paramodels uses the support of one of the most reliable ISO 9001:2015 certified producers of full scale paragliders , MIM paramodels has also studied a special assembly process for small sails, a process used specifically in MIM paramodels products; finally to guarantee maximum stability and durability MIM paramodels uses some of the best materials available on the market today.
CONTROL UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN : Since its inception MIM paramodels has spent a lot of resources also in the study and design of the control units. In fact, we have moved from objects made mainly in an artisanal way to control units totally designed on the computer and realized using the latest 3D printing techniques and rapid prototyping, CNC machine tools. Exactly as in reality, our wings can be used both in the free flight version in slope (without engine) and in the motorized version (paramotor).
